Meeting local individuals and businesses in Barry and the Vale of Glamorgan

I have been attending a networking group in a lovely coffee shop called ‘Grey’s, in Barry. The word ‘networking’ makes people assume it is a rigid meeting where business cards are swapped and everyone talks business. This isn’t the case at ‘Barry Networking’ group, in fact, it’s been suggested it should be renamed ‘Barry Un-Networking’.

Relaxed ‘meetings’ take place on the first Tuesday of every month, 9am – 11am drop in at Grey’s, The Knap, Barry. There is a large free car park next to ‘Romilly’s’ a few doors down.

There are a range of businesses who attend, from PR Executives, Marketeers, Illustrators, Hair Extensionists, Fitness Trainers, Designers… All are welcome, you never know who you will meet. It’s great to build relationships and friendships. Many of the ideas discussed on Barry Ideas Bank are brought up at the group, if you haven’t visited it already, I would say it’s worth a visit (or three).

Un-Networking Barry is free to attend, all we ask is that you purchase a drink (and a treat if you fancy one!) from the lovely hosts – Grey’s Coffee Shop.

If you live in Barry or the Vale of Glamorgan, come and join us!
